Inclusive Employers

Become an inclusive employer, find the right people, and see for yourself that inclusion is an asset.

About Inclusive Employment

When you have the right people on your team, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

As employers know all too well, finding the right fit employee is often the hardest part.

At Help, we have a network of untapped and underrepresented talent, all seeking their next big thing.

Our jobseekers are people with disability and other health conditions who are skilled, engaged, and could very well be the ‘right fit’ you’ve been looking for.

We know the inclusive employment space might seem like uncharted territory, so we’re here to make sense of the landscape and support you to embrace inclusivity as an asset of your own.

We have a long history of working with employers to help them prepare for, hire, and retain employees.

Beyond contributing towards making positive social change, hiring people with disability comes with a range of social and economic benefits for your business. A few of these include:

  • Increased staff retention rates
  • Fewer sick days
  • Improved team morale
  • Representation and diversity

By building an inclusive workforce you are contributing towards positive social change, where people with disability can find and maintain meaningful jobs.

How we support your business to find new staff members

It’s our goal to pair the right staff member with your business, and support you both through the employment journey. That’s why we support your business before, during, and after the recruitment process.

Step 1: Recruitment & pre-employment

After submitting an enquiry, a Local Partnership Coordinator will make contact within two business days to discuss things like:

  • Creating a role description,
  • Shortlisting candidates based on their skills and experience,
  • Pre-screening appropriate candidates, and,
  • Conducting interviews.

Step 2: Upskilling your new staff member

We work with you to prepare jobseekers for their new roles. This can include upskilling, learning pathways, or certifications that help prepare suitable candidates for work. This may include:

  • Sourcing uniforms or PPE
  • Police checks
  • Barista training, RSA + RSA certificates
  • and more.

Step 3: Post-placement support

Our job doesn’t end once you’ve found your new staff member! We provide ongoing support for both the employer and employee to help achieve sustainable employment.

From covering the cost of a go-card to implementing workplace modifications, we aim to create a positive and successful outcome for both parties.

*Wage subsidies may also be available to support employers.
